How to Use the Graduation Year Calculator

Step 1: Provide Enrollment/Start Date

Begin by entering your Enrollment/Start Date in the date field provided. Ensure this date falls between January 1, 2000, and December 31, 2050. This date is crucial as it marks the beginning of your academic journey and will be used to calculate your expected graduation year.

Step 2: Select Your Program Type

Next, choose the Program Type you are enrolled in from the dropdown menu. You have several options:

• Associate Degree (2 years)
• Bachelor’s Degree (4 years)
• Master’s Degree (2.5 years)
• Doctoral Degree (5 years)

This selection will define the standard duration of your studies, excluding any breaks or part-time adjustments.

Step 3: Choose Your Study Schedule

Then, indicate your Study Schedule by selecting either Full-time or Part-time from the dropdown menu. Selecting Part-time will adjust the duration of your program to reflect a slower pace of study.

Step 4: Enter Planned Break Semesters

Input the number of Planned Break Semesters you intend to take during your program. Enter a whole number between 0 and 10. This allows for an accurate calculation by including potential gaps in your study timeline.

Step 5: View Your Results

Once all inputs are provided, you will receive the following results:

• Expected Graduation Date: The anticipated date of your graduation, calculated based on the inputs provided. This date will be formatted as YYYY-MM-DD.
• Total Years to Graduate: The total number of years it will take for you to graduate, factoring in program duration, study schedule, and planned breaks.
• Semesters Remaining: The number of academic semesters left until your graduation, recalculated as of today’s date.

Review these results to monitor and plan your academic journey effectively.
