“Amount to Convert”. The input should be a numeric value, not less
than 0.01, as this is the minimum accepted amount. Ensure that you enter a valid
number to proceed.

Step 2: Select the Currencies

  • From Currency: Use the drop-down menu to select the currency you
    currently have. Options include USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CNY, AUD, CAD, CHF, and INR.
  • To Currency: Choose the currency you want to convert your amount
    into using the next drop-down menu. Make sure it is different from the ‘From
    Currency’.

Step 3: Enter the Conversion Date

In the input field labeled “Conversion Date”, input the date on
which the conversion should occur. The date must be between January 1, 2023, and
December 31, 2024. Ensure the format is correct and falls within the acceptable
range.

Step 4: Input the Exchange Rate

Enter the current exchange rate in the field labeled
“Exchange Rate”. This must be a number greater than or equal to
0.000001. You can increment the rate using the step value of 0.000001 for precision.

Step 5: Review the Results

  • Converted Amount: The calculator will automatically compute the
    converted amount using the formula: amount * exchangeRate. This will be
    displayed as a currency value rounded to two decimal places.
  • Inverse Exchange Rate: The inverse of the given exchange rate
    (1/exchangeRate) is calculated and shown with six decimal precision.
  • Conversion Fee: A fee of 0.5% is applied to the original amount.
    The resulting value is displayed as a currency amount rounded to two decimals.
  • Total Amount Including Fee: This is the sum of the converted
    amount and the conversion fee. The result is presented as a currency value with
    two decimal accuracy.
