  • The velocity factor represents the speed of the signal in the antenna compared to the speed of light in a vacuum.
  • This field is required, so make sure you choose a relevant velocity factor.

Once you have entered all the required fields, the calculator will automatically compute the following results:

  • Wavelength in Meters: Calculated using the formula 300 / frequency. The result will be displayed with two decimal places.
  • Wavelength in Feet: Calculated as (300 / frequency) * 3.28084. The result will also include two decimal places.
  • Antenna Length in Meters: This uses the formula (300 / frequency) * antennaType * velocityFactor. It will be formatted to two decimal places.
  • Antenna Length in Feet: Calculated as ((300 / frequency) * antennaType * velocityFactor) * 3.28084 with two decimal places displayed.
  • Antenna Length in Inches: Displayed following the calculation ((300 / frequency) * antennaType * velocityFactor) * 39.3701 with one decimal place for precision.
