The Army ACFT Calculator is a tool designed to help you calculate your scores for the Army Combat Fitness Test. Below are the steps to effectively use this calculator:
Step 1: Input Your Personal Information
Begin by selecting your age group from the dropdown menu labeled Age Group. The options range from 17-21 to 62+, ensuring you are categorized correctly for scoring.
Next, choose your Gender—either Male or Female. This selection is also used in determining your scoring standards.
Step 2: Enter Exercise Performance Data
- 3-Repetition Maximum Deadlift (pounds): Enter the weight you lifted in pounds. Acceptable entries range from 0 to 400 pounds.
- Standing Power Throw (meters): Enter the distance you achieved in meters, with entries valid between 0 and 15 meters.
- Hand Release Push-ups (repetitions): Record the number of repetitions completed, ranging from 0 to 100.
- Sprint-Drag-Carry (minutes:seconds): Convert your time into total seconds and enter. Input must be between 0 and 300 seconds.
- Plank (minutes:seconds): Similarly, enter your plank hold time in seconds, from 0 to 300 seconds.
- 2-Mile Run (minutes:seconds): Again, convert your run time into seconds, with a range of 0 to 1200 seconds.
Step 3: Calculating Your Scores
Upon entering all required data, the calculator will compute individual scores for each event based on pre-set criteria. Each event has a maximum score of 100 points, with scaled results for varying performance levels.
Step 4: Reviewing Results
The calculator will display your scores as follows:
- Deadlift Score: Points based on weight lifted.
- Power Throw Score: Points from throw distance.
- Push-ups Score: Points from repetitions completed.
- Sprint-Drag-Carry Score: Points based on time completed.
- Plank Score: Points from plank duration.
- 2-Mile Run Score: Points based on run time.
Finally, your Total ACFT Score is calculated as the sum of all individual event scores, providing a comprehensive measure of your performance in the Army Combat Fitness Test.
