Step 2: Enter Time Details

• Time: Input the duration over which the data is transferred. Ensure this is a numeric value of at least 0.01.
• Time Unit: Select the appropriate unit corresponding to the time period. The options include:
  • Seconds (value: 1)
  • Minutes (value: 60)
  • Hours (value: 3600)

Step 3: Calculate Resulting Data Rates

Upon inputting the necessary data and time details, proceed to calculate the data transfer rates:

• Bits per Second (bps): This is computed using the formula: (dataAmount * dataUnit) / (timeAmount * timeUnit). The result is formatted to two decimal points with a ‘bps’ suffix.
• Kilobits per Second (Kbps): This value is derived by dividing the bps by 1000. It is also presented with two decimal points, ending with ‘Kbps’.
• Megabits per Second (Mbps): Achieved by dividing the bps by 1,000,000, and formatted similarly with two decimal points and ‘Mbps’.
• Gigabits per Second (Gbps): Calculate this by dividing the bps by 1,000,000,000. The display follows the same decimal and suffix format.
