Step 1: Gather Necessary Information
Before starting with the calculator, gather the following data about your academic and extracurricular achievements:
- High School GPA on a 4.0 scale
- SAT Score ranging from 400 to 1600
- Level of Extracurricular Activities and leadership involvement
- Total number of AP/IB Classes taken
- Number of Community Service Hours completed
- Type and level of Academic Awards/Honors received
Step 2: Input Academic Information
Start by entering your academic details:
- Enter your GPA in the field labeled “High School GPA (4.0 scale)”. This field requires a number between 0.00 and 4.00, with increments of 0.01.
- Next, input your SAT Score. Ensure your score is between 400 and 1600, with increments of 10.
- Provide the number of AP/IB Classes you have taken, with a range from 0 to 15 classes allowed.
Step 3: Enter Extracurricular and Award Details
Input your extracurricular and awards information:
- Select your level of Extracurricular Activities from the dropdown menu, where 1 represents no activities and 5 represents exceptional involvement and leadership.
- Enter the total Community Service Hours you have completed, up to 1000 hours.
- Select the Academic Awards/Honors you received, from no awards (value 1) to national-level recognition (value 5).
Step 4: Review Your Input
