Step-by-Step Guide to Using the Elimination Calculator

The Elimination Calculator is a tool that helps you determine various health metrics based on your personal inputs. Follow these steps to use the calculator effectively.

Step 1: Enter Personal Information

  • Weight (kg): Input your weight in kilograms. The acceptable range is between 30 kg and 300 kg. Ensure your entry is valid and uses increments of 0.1 kg.
  • Height (cm): Input your height in centimeters. The valid range for height is between 100 cm and 250 cm. Make sure to use whole numbers.
  • Age: Enter your age. You must be between 18 and 120 years old, and valid inputs are in whole numbers.
  • Gender: Select your gender from the options provided: Male or Female.

Step 2: Specify Your Activity Level

  • Select your Activity Level from the dropdown menu. The options available are:
    • Sedentary (little or no exercise): 1.2
    • Lightly active (light exercise 1-3 days/week): 1.375
    • Moderately active (moderate exercise 3-5 days/week): 1.55
    • Very active (hard exercise 6-7 days/week): 1.725
    • Extra active (very hard exercise & physical job): 1.9

Step 3: Input Daily Water Intake

  • Daily Water Intake (L): Enter the amount of water you consume daily in liters. The input should be between 0.5 L and 10 L using increments of 0.1 L.

Step 4: Interpret the Results

  • The calculator will compute your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), which is the number of calories your body needs at rest.
  • It will then provide your Daily Calorie Needs, which include calories required for your activity level.
  • Your Estimated Daily Urine Output will be calculated based on your water intake.
  • Expect an estimation of your Average Daily Bowel Movements, expressed in times per day.
  • Lastly, you’ll see a figure for Total Daily Water Loss, represented in liters.
