How to Use the Non Graphing Calculator
Step 1: Input Your First Number
Begin by entering a value in the First Number field. This is a required input, so make sure to provide a valid number. This will be the first operand in your calculation.
Step 2: Choose an Operation
Next, select the operation you wish to perform from the Operation dropdown menu. The available operations are:
- Addition (+)
- Subtraction (-)
- Multiplication (×)
- Division (÷)
- Power (^)
- Root (√)
- Logarithm (log)
- Sine (sin)
- Cosine (cos)
- Tangent (tan)
Selecting an operation is mandatory to proceed with the calculation.
Step 3: Input Your Second Number
Enter the second operand in the Second Number field. This input is also required. Depending on the operation chosen, this will be used as the second number for binary operations (like addition, subtraction, etc.), or may represent specific parameters in unary operations (like the base for logarithm).
Step 4: Review Your Results
Once you have entered both numbers and selected an operation, the calculator will automatically perform the calculation. The result will be displayed in the result field corresponding to the operation you selected. For example:
- If you chose Addition, look for the Addition Result field.
- For Subtraction, find the Subtraction Result field, and so on.
The results will be formatted with up to four decimal places for precision.
Step 5: Make Adjustments if Necessary
If you need to perform a different calculation or correct any inputs, you can adjust the numbers and operation as needed. The calculator will recalculate and display the new results automatically once you make these changes.
