Step 1: Enter the Pizza Price

  1. Locate the Pizza Price ($) input field.
  2. Enter the price of your pizza. Ensure that the value is a positive number between $0.01 and $1,000. For example, you can input “20.50”.

Step 2: Select Service Quality

  1. Find the Service Quality dropdown menu.
  2. Choose the option that best describes the level of service you received:
    • Poor (10%)
    • Fair (15%)
    • Good (18%)
    • Great (20%)
    • Excellent (25%)
  3. Select the corresponding percentage based on the quality of the service.

Step 3: Split the Bill

  1. Locate the Split Between (# of people) input field.
  2. Enter the number of people sharing the bill. It must be a whole number between 1 and 100. For example, input “3” if three people are sharing the bill.

Step 4: View Calculation Results

Once you have entered all the above information, the Pizza Tip Calculator will automatically compute the results.

  • Tip Amount: This is the tip you’ll be leaving based on the service quality percentage.
  • Total Bill: This field displays the total amount payable, including the pizza price and the calculated tip.
  • Amount Per Person: This is calculated by dividing the total bill by the number of people you specified in Step 3.
  • Tip Percentage: This confirms the percentage of the tip relative to the pizza price.
