Follow these steps to input the necessary details, and the calculator will help you understand your pot odds and determine whether to call or fold.

Step 1: Enter Current Pot Size

  • Field: Current Pot Size ($)
  • Action: Input the current total amount in the pot. This value must be a number and greater than or equal to 0.
  • Validation: Ensure that the amount entered has a minimum value of 0 and can be specified up to two decimal places for precision (e.g., 50.00).

Step 2: Enter Amount to Call

  • Field: Amount to Call ($)
  • Action: Input the amount you need to call to remain in the game. This value must be numeric and greater than or equal to 0.
  • Validation: Ensure the call amount is accurate and specified with two decimal places if necessary.

Step 3: Enter Number of Outs

  • Field: Number of Outs
  • Action: Enter the number of outs you have, which refers to the unseen cards that will improve your hand to a winning hand.
  • Validation: The number of outs should be a whole number between 0 and 47.

Step 4: Select Cards to Come

  • Required Implied Odds: The additional amount you would expect to win to justify calling, formatted in USD currency.
  • Mathematical Decision: The calculator will advise whether to “Call” or “Fold” based on whether your card equity exceeds the pot odds.
