How to Use the Profection Year Calculator

The Profection Year Calculator is a tool designed to help you determine your age during a specific target year, calculate the profection house, and the profection sign based on your birth date, among other relevant astrological information. Follow these steps to use the calculator effectively:

Step 1: Enter Your Birth Date

• Locate the field labeled Birth Date.
• Input your birthdate using the date format provided (YYYY-MM-DD).
• Ensure that the date entered is within the valid range from January 1, 1900, to December 31, 2024.

Step 2: Specify the Target Year

• Find the field labeled Target Year.
• Enter the year you wish to calculate the profection details for. This year must be between 1900 and 2100.

Step 3: Indicate if Your Birth Time is Known

• Go to the field labeled Birth Time Known?.
• Select Yes if you know your birth time, or No if you do not.

Step 4: Calculate and View Results

Once all the required fields are filled, the calculator will compute the following results:

• Age in Target Year: Your age in the specified target year is calculated by subtracting your birth year from the target year.
• Profection House: This is calculated by taking your age in the target year and computing the remainder when divided by 12, adjusting for completion with a 12-house cycle.
• Profection Sign: The sign is determined by adding the birth month to the profection house number, with adjustments for a 12-month cycle.
• Profection Period: The period runs from your birthday in the target year to the day before your birthday in the subsequent year.
