How to Use the Rank Calculator

This guide will walk you through using the Rank Calculator to determine your gaming rank based on your performance statistics.

Step 1: Input Your Performance Data

  • Kills: Enter the total number of kills you have achieved. Ensure this is a non-negative whole number.
  • Deaths: Enter the total number of deaths. This should also be a non-negative whole number.
  • Wins: Input the total number of wins. Again, use a non-negative whole number.
  • Matches Played: Enter the total number of matches you have participated in. This needs to be a non-negative whole number.
  • Play Style: Choose your play style from the available options: Casual, Moderate, or Competitive. This will affect your final performance score calculation.

Step 2: Understanding the Result Fields

  • K/D Ratio: This field calculates your kill-to-death ratio by dividing the total kills by the maximum of deaths or 1, and displays it with two decimal precision.
  • Win Rate: Your win rate is calculated by dividing your total wins by the maximum of matches played or 1, and then multiplying by 100 to get a percentage. It is displayed with one decimal precision.
  • Performance Score: This score is computed by multiplying your K/D Ratio by 500, adding your Win Rate multiplied by 2, and then adjusting based on your chosen play style. The score is shown with no decimal points.
  • Rank: Based on your performance score, you will be assigned a rank such as Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, or Master. The thresholds for each rank are defined within the calculator’s logic.

Step 3: Interpreting Your Results

Once you input all required data, the calculator will automatically compute your results according to the built-in logic. You will see your calculated K/D Ratio, Win Rate, Performance Score, and Rank.

Note: Double-check your input data for any errors to ensure accurate results. Each field has specific validation requirements, such as minimum values, to guide correct data entry.
