How to Use the Sai Index Calculator
The Sai Index Calculator is a tool designed to provide a comprehensive analysis of body measurements, focusing on the SAI Index and related metrics. To effectively utilize this calculator, follow these detailed steps:
Step 1: Provide Your Measurements
- Height: Enter your height in centimeters. Ensure that your height is between 100 cm and 250 cm. This input is mandatory, and increments as small as 0.1 cm are allowed.
- Shoulder Width: Provide your shoulder width. This value must be between 20 cm and 80 cm, adhering to a precision of 0.1 cm. This field is also required.
- Waist Width: Input your waist width measurement. The acceptable range is from 20 cm to 150 cm with an accuracy of 0.1 cm, and this information is compulsory.
Step 2: Specify Your Gender
Select your gender from the available options. This selection is crucial for calculating ideal shoulder width and impacts the results of the SAI Index analysis.
Step 3: Understanding the Results
- SAI Index: The calculator computes the SAI Index using the formula (shoulderWidth / waistWidth) * 100. The result will be displayed with two decimal points for precision.
- Body Type Category: Based on your SAI Index, your body type category will be determined. Categories include “V-Shape (Excellent),” “Athletic,” “Average,” “Below Average,” and “Poor.” Interpret the category to understand your body profile.
- Height to Waist Ratio: This ratio is derived by dividing your height by your waist width, providing insight into your body’s vertical proportions.
- Ideal Waist Width: Your ideal waist width is estimated at 45% of your height and will be presented with one decimal place accuracy, displayed in centimeters.
- Ideal Shoulder Width: Depending on your gender, the calculator suggests an ideal shoulder width: 150% of waist width for males and 140% for females, with the result given to one decimal point and measured in centimeters.
By following these steps and understanding each component, you can gain valuable insights into your body measurements and optimize your physical health accordingly.
